FEATURED CARACTERISTICS OF FEAR AND ANXIETY EXPERIENSE IN ADOLESCENTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of fear and anxiety that arise in teenagers during the war. The program and toolkit of the empirical study of the personal characteristics of experiencing fear and anxiety in teenagers are revealed. The experimental research is structured and described in stages. The first stage of the experiment included: detailed theoretical analysis of previously published works on the topic of research and identification of unsolved problems that will become the main ones in this experiment; choosing a research topic; setting the goal and objectives of the research; studying the real practice of solving the investigated problem; study of the measures developed in theory and applied in practice, which contribute to the solution of the problem. The second stage includes: the selection of the required number of experimental objects (the number of subjects, determination of the possible duration of the experiment; the choice of specific methods for studying the initial state of the experimental object). The sample of the study included 56 students of adolescent education who expressed a desire to participate in the experiment. The list of psychodiagnostic methods used in the experimental part is provided. They included: self-actualization test, Spielberger-Khanin method, O. Kondash's "Anxiety Scale", O. Zakharov I. Panfilov's method for identifying children's fears, a questionnaire on the hierarchical structure of actual personality fears (Yu. Shcherbatykh and E. Ivlev). An empirical study of the characteristics of the experience of fear and anxiety in adolescents was conducted. The presented results obtained during the analysis showed. The obtained results of the study proved that the investigated indicators of anxiety and fears from the general indicator of self-actualization showed a positive relationship of indicators: spatial fears, fears of height and depth, and fears related to sexual function at the level of high statistical significance. It has been confirmed that people with a high level of self-actualization have fears associated with a high level of responsibility for their own lives and opportunities for self-realization in various spheres of life. Negative relationship of indicators: school anxiety, self-esteem anxiety, general anxiety and fear at the level of high statistical significance, as well as interpersonal, medical fears at the level of statistical significance with the general indicator of self-actualization.
