This article examines the key aspects of IT project management in the aviation industry of Ukraine in the conditions of rapid digitalization and growing global competition. The main focus is on the analysis of digital transformations in the sector, in particular, the implementation of automated flight control systems, passenger platforms and navigation systems. The research focuses on identifying key challenges such as lack of funding, human resources and the complexities of integrating modern technologies, particularly cyber security issues, which are becoming critical due to the growing use of IT in aviation. Issues of cyber security are analyzed separately, which are becoming more and more relevant in connection with the growth of the use of information technologies in aviation. The article also provides a comparison of the levels of implementation of innovative technologies between Ukraine and European countries, in particular, in the areas of investment, process automation, implementation of artificial intelligence and big data. Based on the results of the study, a model of effective IT project management was developed, which includes strategies for improving financing, developing skills, increasing the level of cyber security, and stimulating innovation. The authors emphasize that in order to accelerate the development of IT in the aviation industry of Ukraine, it is necessary to intensify cooperation between the state, business and educational institutions. This will allow the country to more effectively integrate into the global aviation ecosystem and increase its competitiveness on the world stage. It has been established that the optimal strategy for managing IT technologies is the Agile strategy, which allows companies to be flexible and quickly adapt to changes. Enhancing this strategy through the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, enhanced cybersecurity, workforce development, and global collaboration will improve IT project management efficiency and help companies achieve their business goals in the face of rapidly evolving technology.Downloads
