Abstract

The article examines the issue of integrating process and project management as an effective tool for business development in the conditions of a recovery economy. The relevance of this issue is due to the need to transform traditional management approaches, which do not always meet the challenges of the post-crisis period, in particular, post-war recovery. In the new realities, enterprises must simultaneously ensure the stability of current business processes and the implementation of innovative changes focused on strategic growth. Sustainable business development requires a combination of a project approach, as a mechanism for achieving specific goals and implementing innovations, with a process approach that ensures standardized, continuous and resource-efficient functioning. In the dynamic environment of post-crisis development, such integration allows enterprises to increase adaptability, reduce operational risks and increase long-term sustainability. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the feasibility of integrating process and project management in business in the conditions of a recovery economy, as well as to develop appropriate management models taking into account a high level of uncertainty, resource constraints and the needs of strategic flexibility. The methodological basis of the study is the system and process approaches to management, the principles of project management. In the context of the renewable economy, the proposed systemic model of sustainable development is focused on achieving a balance between economic, social, environmental and innovative factors. The integration of process and project approaches allows enterprises not only to maintain stable operational activities, but also to flexibly implement changes. Such synergy allows for a more effective response to external challenges and ensures the strategic stability of the business in conditions of instability. In the post-crisis period, the business development strategy should be comprehensive, combining different areas of activity into a single managed system. The main role in the formation of such a strategy is played by the mission of the enterprise, which determines long-term guidelines and vectors of change. An important condition for competitiveness is the harmonious combination of economic results with social responsibility, environmental safety and the introduction of innovations. The proposed management model helps businesses adapt to difficult circumstances, use resources rationally, and ensure sustainable growth in the future. Further research should focus on developing a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of integrated management, adapting models to industry specifics, and implementing digital solutions to support management decision-making in the context of sustainable recovery.
