RESOURCE-PROTECTIVE APPROACH FOR STRATEGIZING OF THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract

Ensuring economic security is one of the important tasks of domestic enterprises, as their activities are under the influence of threats that arise both in the external and internal environment. Each of the most common approaches in modern science to the economic security of enterprises - protective, resource-functional and harmonization - is self-sufficient, but the possibilities of their use to ensure the economic security of enterprises are different. The most popular among scientists and the most used in the activities of enterprises are protective and resource approaches. This is due to two reasons. On the one hand, the economic security of enterprises is almost a priori understood as a state of protection of the enterprise from various threats. On the other hand, resource provision, being an integral part of the activities of any enterprise, is both a prerequisite for its operation and a basis for economic security. However, research on the combination of resource and protective approaches to the strategic horizon of strengthening the economic security of enterprises in domestic scientific publications is currently practically not presented, while the emergence of new threats on the one hand and increasing requirements for economic security strategy such research. The aim: to deepen the theoretical foundations of security by applying a resource-protective approach to strategizing the economic security of the enterprise. Research methods: structural-logical modeling, monitoring, tabular. Results: the necessity of strategizing the economic security of the enterprise is proved, the principles of monitoring the threats to the resource provision of the economic security of the enterprise on the strategic horizon of its activity are determined. The positive results of monitoring the threats to the resource security of economic security include: gradual monitoring allows to provide owners and managers of the enterprise with all the necessary information about the object of monitoring; creating the necessary basis for assessing the threats to the resource security of the economic security of the enterprise on the basis of their specification on the strategic horizon of its activities; the developed monitoring algorithm provides control over the process of resource provision of economic security of the enterprise in the context of the market environment; formation of the necessary information and analytical base to address practical issues of maintaining or improving the existing level of economic security of the enterprise. Under the rationality of the chosen option of strategizing the economic security of the enterprise means either achieving a given level of security of the enterprise at minimum cost, or achieving the maximum possible level of security at a given level of costs.
