DYNAMICS OF THE STRUCTURE OF CONSUMPTION OF COMPREHENSIVE EXPENDITURE OF HOUSEHOLDS IN UKRAINE AND CZECH REPUBLIC

The article considers the current state and trends of structural shifts in consumer aggregate household expenditures of two countries: Ukraine and the Czech Republic. It is concluded that the growth of aggregate household resources of Ukraine for the period of 2010-2017 by 82.64% and, accordingly, the growth of expenses for the same period by 86.88%. Exceeding the dynamics of growth of average monthly expenditures on average monthly incomes per household of Ukraine was 4.24%. The share of consumer expenditures of households in Ukraine in 2017 amounted to 93.0% of total expenditures. It is concluded that almost all financial resources of households in Ukraine are spent on consumption. Gross cash income per person per year in the Czech Republic for the period 2013-2017 grew by 19.67%, total consumption expenditures for that period increased by 8.35%. Exceeding the dynamics of income growth per person per year over the growth of expenditures in households in the Czech Republic amounted to 11.32%. The conclusion is drawn about the possibility of accumulation of financial resources in households in the Czech Republic. The most significant items of the budget expenditures of households in Ukraine in 2017 include: "food and soft drinks" - 51.2%, "housing, water, electricity, gas" - 14.1%; "Health care" - 4.3%. The most significant budget items for households in the Czech Republic in 2017 were: "housing, water, electricity, gas" - 14,1%; "Food and non-alcoholic beverages" -19,9%; "Various goods and services" - 11,8%. The results of the comparative analysis have shown that households in the Czech Republic in 2017 spent more than households in Ukraine on the following items: "various goods and services" - 9.2%, "recreation and culture" - 8.1%, "housing, water, electricity, gas "- 6.7%, transport - 7.3%, restaurants and hotels - 3.4%," communications "- 1.8%. For food, Czech families spend less on the Ukrainian by 31.3%. It is concluded that the living standards of households in the Czech Republic are higher than the living standards of Ukrainian households.
