THE HUNGARIAN ECONOMY AT THE CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state and development trends of the economy of Hungary. The purpose of the article is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the current state and development prospects of the Hungarian economy in the context of national and international factors of influence. The methods of theoretical generalization, abstract-logical, analysis and synthesis, comparison and system approach were used for the research. The study examines key aspects of the Hungarian economic system, including the structure of GDP, major industries, foreign economic relations and the investment climate. The article highlights the peculiarities of the economic policy of Viktor Orban's government, in particular, his approach to attracting foreign investments and developing national business. Particular attention is paid to the impact of Hungary's membership in the European Union on its economic development, as well as challenges related to the global economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. The article analyzes the current problems of the Hungarian economy, such as inflation, the growth of public debt and demographic challenges. The prospects of Hungary's economic growth, its potential in the field of innovation and technology, as well as opportunities for further integration into the European and world economy are also considered. The article is based on a wide range of sources, including official statistical data, reports of international organizations (IMF, World Bank, OECD), as well as expert assessments of leading Hungarian and international economists.
