Abstract

An analysis of the types of military and economic activities specified in the Decree of the President of Ukraine of 21.04.1999 № 422 «On measures to improve military and technical cooperation of Ukraine with foreign countries», and assessment of their adequacy to ensure the needs of national security and defense, military and special equipment for imports, development of the domestic defense-industrial complex and strengthening its export potential, as well as expanding opportunities for international military-economic cooperation of Ukraine with foreign countries and international organizations. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and clarify the priorities of international military-economic cooperation of Ukraine on the basis of analysis (review) of current trends in its development. Emphasis is placed on activities that require in-depth analysis of the results of their practical use in the interests of importing defense products for the needs of the security and defense sector of Ukraine, as well as to increase exports of domestic military and dual-use goods arms market. It is noted that there are insufficient activities to carry out full-scale cooperation with leading foreign countries in the military-economic sphere. Emphasis was placed on launching new activities in wind farms, in particular those used in NATO and the EU, and helping to expand the wind farm's capabilities for domestic state customers and defense companies in providing relevant security and defense structures of Ukraine with the latest weapons and equipment, innovative development and technological renewal of the defense industry and strengthening its export potential, as well as bringing the mechanisms of the domestic wind farm system closer to Euro-Atlantic standards. It is proposed, taking into account the results of the analysis of military-economic cooperation and experience of foreign countries in this field, to begin the process of introducing new types of military-technical activities in Ukraine and updating existing legal documents governing legal relations in the field of winds.
