TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES AND THEIR FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, as it provides the population with food and is the raw material base of light and food industries. It is a branch of the national economy that aims to provide the population with food and raw materials for a number of industries. After all, the life and health of people depend on the availability and quality of food, and the level of development of the state’s agro-industrial sector is a key element of its food security. Ukraine has favorable conditions for the development of the agricultural sector, which allows to ensure domestic consumption of quality and environmentally friendly agricultural products and increase its supply to the world market. Demand for agricultural products is constantly growing as the demand of the population, especially urban, increases. In addition, the current state of agriculture makes it possible to anticipate in the development of agricultural enterprises one of the ways of its future prospective development. The active dynamics of economic and political changes taking place in Ukrainian society requires an active and adequate response. Efforts should be made to minimize the negative effects on society's economy and increase the benefits of deepening economic integration. Thus, the issue of agricultural development is very relevant today. The purpose of the study is to analyze current trends in agricultural enterprises. The article considers the structure of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine. The key features of agricultural enterprises are described. The dynamics of GDP, agriculture and its share are considered. The financial results of agricultural, forestry and fisheries enterprises are analyzed. The structure of sources of financial support of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine is estimated. Value added and number of employees in agricultural enterprises are analyzed. The main problems of agricultural enterprises are identified and proposals for their minimization are provided.
