In the article the actual questions of increase of competitiveness and providing of economic safety of domestic enterprises are explored in modern terms. It is marked, that the increase of competitiveness of enterprise as a constituent of his economic safety needs systems approach, realization of considerable complex of measures organizational-economic, administrative and technological. The features of application of competition strategies of enterprise are described in modern terms. The system of key aims of increase of competitiveness and providing of economic safety of enterprise is offered. It is set, that in modern terms the system of economic safety of enterprise must be one of staples of strategic management by an enterprise. Because of it the guidance of industrial enterprises must look after about providing of the proper their economic strength security informative, analytical, innovative and strategic not only in a current period, oh at the following. Pursuing a weighed grounded policy in the region of economic safety of industrial enterprise is extraordinarily the actual task on the modern stage of defence of Ukrainian economic interests. In the floor basic government bases by economic safety of enterprises theoretical and methodical are exposed, its place and role in the system of management by an enterprise. By threats in economic safety of industrial enterprise it is necessary to count actions present or potential, and that complicate or do impossible realization of economic interests of enterprise and create a danger for economic activity and life-support of collective of enterprise. Most authors divide threats into internal and external; political, criminal, competition; obvious and hidden; objective (that are conditioned by the elemental natural phenomena) and subjective (are conditioned by activity of man); are forecast and not forecast.
