In the article the features of competition are considered in the modern terms of market environment, its important influence is marked on activity of enterprise, the key terms of providing of higher competitiveness of enterprise are generalized, certain necessity of introduction of innovations for achievement of the best results in competitive activity, description of basic models of innovative development of enterprises is resulted. It is set, that the problem of activation of innovative activity of the Ukrainian enterprises gets the value of principle in the context of carrying out market reform in Ukraine and increase of efficiency of menage. Advantages of innovative factor in providing of competitiveness of enterprises today are obvious. In the article is marked, that the permanent innovations are the main factor of successful activity of enterprise at the market. In connection with the increase of requirements of users, abbreviations of life cycle of commodities or services and sharpening of competition at the market of enterprise are forced constantly to improve the goods and services, and also to develop new. Therefore an enterprise must have the aggregate of different innovative projects, which it is necessary continuously to fill up. Thought about that application of innovations in the activity will help domestic enterprises not only to put right internal processes from production of goods due to progressive technologies, but also will be instrumental in the increase of level of competitiveness and saving of competitive edges in time is the important aspect of research. Considering the competitiveness of the enterprise or industry, it can not be ignored its dualistic nature. After all, there are two poles of "attractiveness" of market proposals: for the price and for the qualitative and technical characteristics of products. Accordingly, an enterprise can be competitive at the price, for the qualitative and technical characteristics of the products, and at the same time both for the price and for the qualitative and technical characteristics of the products. Enterprise which uses innovative processes in the activity owns competitive advantage until confidentiality of innovations inculcated on him is saved. It is argued to those, that practically any achievement can be repeated.
