Abstract

The article examines the psychological conditions for adopting nonviolence as a life strategy, as well as the role of emotional intelligence in shaping a culture of nonviolent communication. The relevance of the study is justified by the fact that, in professional environments, the implementation of the principles of nonviolent communication contributes to increased trust, strengthened team cohesion, improvement of the psychological climate, and overall productivity. The purpose of the article is to analyze the psychological conditions for accepting nonviolence, to determine the role of emotional intelligence in the formation of a culture of nonviolent communication, and to explore the interrelationship between these components in interpersonal and professional communication. To achieve the stated objectives, a comprehensive set of scientific research methods was employed, including theoretical analysis and synthesis of the literature to examine and compare the fundamental concepts of nonviolent communication and emotional intelligence; comparative analysis of empirical sources; content analysis of applied recommendations regarding self-reflection as a mechanism of self-regulation; and methods of logical generalization and modeling to construct a conceptual framework of interrelationships.

An analysis of internal and external factors influencing the choice of a nonviolent behavioral model was conducted, and the key components of emotional intelligence that ensure effective communication were characterized. Particular attention is given to Marshall Rosenberg’s model of nonviolent communication and its practical application in various social contexts. The article presents practical recommendations for the development of emotional competence and the implementation of nonviolent communication models in educational and professional settings. The obtained scientific results highlight the experience of organizations that have integrated a culture of nonviolent communication as part of their corporate culture, demonstrating a reduction in conflict levels, increased employee engagement, and an improved reputation of the company as an employer. Prospects for further research are identified in the areas of forming a culture of nonviolent communication, which requires a holistic, systemic approach and continuous support at all levels of interaction – from the personal to the organizational.
