Anxiety associated with dental interventions is a common psychological phenomenon that negatively affects the health of patients and their treatment. Studying the level of this anxiety and its factors is important to improve the quality of dental care.
Aim: to study the level of anxiety of dental patients and its manifestation factors.
Methods: MDAS, interviewing and Ch.D. Spielberger Reactive and Personal Anxiety Scale were used to assess the psycho-emotional state of respondents.
Results: most patients had a moderate level of anxiety with professional factors (work position, work experience) and lifestyles (sleep duration) having a significant impact on it.
Conclusions: anxiety is a common phenomenon among dental patients, and increasing autonomy in the workplace and optimizing living conditions contribute to its reduction. These data can be used to develop psycho-emotional support programs in dental practice.
