Policy on Ethical Approval for Research Involving Humans, Animals, or Their Biological Materials, as Well as Personal or Confidential Data

The «Science notes of KROK University» adheres to high ethical standards in all aspects of scientific activity. This includes compliance with all necessary norms and requirements related to research conducted with the involvement of humans, animals, or their biological materials, as well as the use of personal or confidential data.

 Ethical Approval

Authors of articles that contain research involving humans, animals, or their biological materials, as well as research involving the processing of personal or confidential data, must obtain ethical approval from the appropriate ethics committee or institution responsible for monitoring such types of research. This approval is mandatory before submitting the article for publication.

 Compliance with Legislation

All research involving humans, animals, or their biological materials must comply with the relevant legislation of Ukraine, including the Law of Ukraine on "Personal Data Protection" and other regulations governing ethical standards in science and healthcare.

 Permissions and Consent

In the case of research involving humans or animals, authors must provide the necessary permissions for participation in the study, as well as consent from the research participants, especially if personal or confidential data is involved. Authors must also confirm that they have obtained ethical approval for research involving these aspects.

 Submission of Ethical Documents

Before submitting the article to the journal, authors must provide confirmation of obtaining ethical approval and the necessary documents that confirm the participants' consent (if applicable) and the right to use personal or confidential data.

Authors are responsible for adhering to all ethical norms and legal requirements in their research. If any ethical violations or breaches of legislation are detected, the editorial team reserves the right to refuse the publication of the article or to retract it after publication.
