The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in the new conditions the problem of employees acquiring new skills and competencies that would contribute to their adaptation and increase the level of motivation to work is becoming more acute. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the feasibility of using time management tools in practical activities that develop the ability to recognize potentially successful situations for completing tasks in order to make the most optimal use of both personal and organizational resources. The article identifies which characteristics of the modern world necessitate increased attention to the issue of developing skills and competencies of the personnel of any company. It is noted that the greatest relevance is acquired by a person's ability to adapt and the ability to interact with the external environment.
