Abstract

The dynamic changes that have taken place today in modern Ukrainian society determine the need for systematic reform of the national education system. In Ukraine, the importance of education is beginning to grow, which is becoming not only a condition for raising the cultural level of the population, but also an important resource that significantly affects the social and economic development of the state. A necessary condition for the development of vocational education is to ensure that its content meets the needs. and the challenges of modern society. It must meet the demands of the labor market in the need for personnel for the economy and, at the same time, remain an important part of the education system. It should be noted that the main task of vocational education is to meet the needs of individuals and society in vocational education services, taking into account the requirements of the labor market, ensuring equal access to quality and free education, training, retraining and retraining, creative and spiritually rich personality, taking into account its interests and abilities. The modern labor market requires from a graduate of vocational education not only sound theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to independently apply them to non-standard life situations. However, with the development of technological progress there was a radical restructuring of society on the basis of fundamentally new economic, social and political factors. In this regard, vocational schools are subject to increased requirements for the training of workers, their educational level and professional skills. The solution to this problem involves the need to reform the system of vocational education. The aim of the article is to analyze a detailed analysis of current problems and prospects for the development of vocational technical education in Ukraine. The article analyzes the trends of changes in the number of institutions and the contingent of students in 2015-2021; the state of execution of the regional order in 2017-2018 is investigated; the schedule of approval of the regional order is analyzed.
