UKRAINIAN-TURKISH EXPERIENCE IN IMPLEMENTING MECHANISMS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF ENERGY INNOVATION

Abstract

The article explores the peculiarities of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Turkey, identifies promising directions for further cooperation in the energy sector, in particular, in the field of renewable energy. Prerequisites for development of renewable energy projects in Ukraine and its investment attractiveness are analysed, problems and prospects of regulation of economic relations in the energy industry are determined. The subject of the study is Ukrainian-Turkish economic relations, in particular, in the field of renewable energy. The purpose of the article is to study the existing mechanisms of cooperation and form a recommendation to manage the development of international cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey for the implementation of energy innovations.. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: research on cooperation in various fields; the identification of priorities for cooperation between the two countries; the determination of the main factors influencing economic relations between the countries and the possibilities of regulating them. General scientific methods are used, the main ones are system analysis - to determine the components of the system of foreign economic relations of Ukraine and Turkey; system analysis to identify elements that form the basis for the development of cooperation in the field of energy innovation. The following results are obtained: on the basis of the conducted analysis, the main factors of development of economic relations of Ukraine and Turkey were determined, directions of cooperation development in the field of renewable energy, in particular  development of the electric vehicle market, and prospects in terms of increasing the investment attractiveness of “green” projects in Ukraine for Turkish investors, in particular the introduction of “green” auctions, were formulated. Conclusions: The role of renewable energy as a direction of energy innovation to deepen cooperation between the two countries is revealed; the main indicators of export and import, important economic indicators, indicators of renewable energy are investigated; Prospects for further trade and economic cooperation and the main mechanisms for managing the development of international cooperation for the introduction of energy innovations are identified.
